This plant can tolerate a drier growing medium, but will do well if you water it regularly. Check that the growing medium is about halfway dry, then water thoroughly.

This plant will benefit from being in a location with bright, indirect light. Depending on your conditions, a window-lit spot or one that offers a few hours of direct morning sunlight will be appreciated.

Moderate Humidity

This plant will fare decently in normal household humidity (50 – 60%) but will benefit from higher humidity levels.

This plant is prone to root rot, so care should be taken not to overwater it. While the nerve plant enjoys higher humidity, it should not be mist so often that water is left to sit on the leaves.
