Water Moderately

This plant can tolerate a drier growing medium, but will do well if you water it regularly. Check that the growing medium is about halfway dry, then water thoroughly.

 Medium Light

This plant will benefit from being in a location with bright, indirect light. Depending on your conditions, a window-lit spot or one that offers a few hours of direct morning sunlight will be appreciated.

Moderate Humidity

This plant requires a high humidity environment (75% >) to thrive, although it will tolerate a slightly less humid location.

Problems & Maintenance

This plant is prone to mealybugs. Inspect it often, paying attention to the crevices between leaves and stems for pests. It can be pruned to encourage bushier, over leggy growth.

Suitable for Indoors

This is a plant that will live happily indoors so long it is properly cared for. It prefers cooler temperatures, and may not fare well outdoors in Singapore.

This plant is moderately poisonous. Eating parts of it may result in vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach pains, skin irritations, and breathing difficulties. Keep away from pets and children.
