Quick Care Guide
Water Sparingly
This plant prefers a drier growing medium. Check that the growing medium is almost fully dry, then water thoroughly. The Lithops appear to wrinkle or pucker when they require water, and may feel softer than when hydrated.
High Light
This plant loves to receive lots of bright light, and may even tolerate strong direct afternoon or evening sunlight. Always increase the amount of sun exposure gradually to prevent leaf scorch.
Low Humidity
This plant will fare decently in normal household humidity (50 – 60%) but will benefit from higher humidity levels.
Problems & Maintenance
The Lithops are hardly susceptible to pests, but instead do not survive due to improper watering. Never water Lithops on a schedule. Instead, take care to observe their pattern of growth and only provide water sparingly when absolutely required, for a long-lived succulent.
Suitable for Indoors
This is a plant that will live happily indoors so long it is properly cared for.
