Water Moderately

This plant can tolerate a drier growing medium, but will do well if you water it regularly. Check that the growing medium is about halfway dry, then water thoroughly.

 High Light

This plant loves to receive lots of bright light, and may even tolerate strong direct afternoon or evening sunlight. Always increase the amount of sun exposure gradually to prevent leaf scorch.

Low Humidity

This plant will fare decently in normal household humidity (50 – 60%) but will benefit from higher humidity levels.

Problems & Maintenance

This plant can come quite compact and bushy. In lower light conditions, may get leggy, causing some leaf drop due to the sheer amount of foliage it has. It should be pruned regularly to encourage growth.

Suitable for Indoors

This is a plant that will live happily indoors so long it is properly cared for. It will also fare well outdoors if slowly introduced to higher light levels.

Toxicity Level 2

This plant is moderately poisonous. Eating parts of it may result in vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach pains, skin irritations, and breathing difficulties. Keep away from pets and children.
